There are many methods that are being sued for carpet cleaning on a professional level but there are two of them which are being used mostly for different reasons, Steam cleaning and Chem-Dry carpet cleaning.
In steam cleaning method Hot water and detergent are sprayed onto the carpet to loosen up the dirt and other debris. When dirt and other germs come up from the deep layer of the carpet it gets removed while using a different kind of tools and water with high pressure and in the last, the carpet required to rinse and remove any lingering detergent. This method removes only 70 to 75 percent of the dirt and the germs from the carpet and because this method requires too much hot water, the carpet takes more than 24 hours to dry off completely.
Dry method or we can also say Chemdry method does not need too much water. The use of water in this method is very less and that is way carpets do not take too much time to dry off. The other best thing about this method is that it does not require any hard chemicals and remove at least 99% of dirt from the carpet. There are two methods of dry cleaning first is Host Carpet Cleaning which includes spreading a damp compound on the carpet, once it loses the dirt you can simply use a vacuum to remove the dust. The second method is Bonnet Cleaning; in this method, professional carpet cleaning team will spray the carpet with an absorbent cleaning solution. This will break down dirt deposits and loosen them from carpet fibers and then they will use a buffer with an absorbent pad called a bonnet to scrub the carpet and absorb the cleaning solution in one step.
